[Fishing] No More Buying Lures or Needing to Drink...

    I did the math and Blizzard kind of put in a hidden reward to devoted fishers willing to get the best fishing gear. I don't know if this has ever been covered, but...

    The highest skill for any zone for no get aways is 575.

    Base Skill: 450
    Arcanite Fishing Pole: +35
    High Test Eternium Fishing Line: +5
    Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat: +5
    Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots: +5
    Lure from Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat: +75

    For a total of 575 skill. Sure you're using a lure, but you never again have to buy one as the hat provides you with a lure. It can only be done with that precise gear combination. The reward for getting all the best fishing gear? Never buy another lure again... Ever... Happiness.

    Actually you forgot the glove enchant, so you could have the spun truesilver line (+3) with the +2 glove enchant and still reach 575.

    I just did it in the background and stopped worrying about it. While I am beyond excited to have my hat, I feel the pain of the people who have worked hard and not gotten it. If you ask me, if you do the fishing quests for 6 months, you should have a doggone hat. This random drop thing should pan out after a while and not leave people frustrated to the point of tears trying to get such a needed item.
