[Fishing] No pole needed....

    Fishing: Click while facing a body of water. No fishing pole needed. Right-Click on the bob in the water when it splashes to catch your fish. Melee range. Instant (Channeled). 0.2 sec cooldown.

    Fishing: No fishing pole needed. Click this button while facing a body of water, then click on the bobber when it splashes. Melee range. Instant (Channeled). 0.2 sec cooldown.

    Personally, I like putting on my pole ... doesn't seem right not having to equip it to fish. So...what are your thoughts?

    MoP: Poleless Fishing? As far as I know this is just a tooltip bug-fix for something that happened back with MoP's release.

    you mean i've been equipping my pole this whole time and didn't have too!

    (I just like being contrary to changes :) )

    ps - that'll teach me to take long breaks from wow and not back reading patch notes

    yeah its nice and its not. I'm in the "I like to have my Arcanite Fishing Pole equipped camp" so people can see it. But its nice that after I kill something trying to attack a fisherman (and I equip weapons) a stick comes out enabling me to continuing fishing uninterrupted.
