    Got the Achievment very quickly.

    no fish poles as yet, 1 picture, a weather beaten hat & lots of junk.

    Seem to get the gold coins a lot.

    Gotten most everything, but it was months and months before i got the strand crawler, what i really wanted.

    but did get a titanium lockbox with the 5 ring in it...

    lots of broken glass...

    Good stuff comes up. I don't think there's anything worldbeating, but when you get an epic gem for casting a hook a few times, you can't complain.

    The "grey trash" is sometimes the best of the lot. How can you hate a porcelain bell which nets you a hundred gold? The pet is nice, the hat is better than the StV fishing contest reward hat, there's a better fishing line to attach to that Arcanite pole, and frankly my eye (the remaining one) popped when I saw what the Bone Fishing Pole did for my Feral druid. And of course there are the Stormjewels, which either work great for you or can be sold for mucho dinero.

    I do the fishing and cooking dailies for those charas who are not yet Exalted with Kirin Tor (three toi go!) but if it's Jewel of the Sewers, which can be done in a few casts without travelling, my whole stable does it. The rewards are, in my opinion, very worthwhile.

    Both my husband and I have gotten the strand crawler. I've gotten 3 porcelain bells, several paintings, a couple of lines and nothing else.

    I have three toons that used to do these dailies pretty religiously. I find I have less time nowadays to do them in between guild committments, but I do try and whisk them out when I can.

    All the toons managed to get their Fishing Hats in Shattrath - so, for interesting loot in Dalaran, I've had a Bone Fishing Pole (thankfully on my main!), the Compass many times (vendored), and a Strand Crawler (thankfully again on my main).

    As far as grey trash, several bells, and paintings etc, as one would expect.

    The only thing that eludes me - my jewelcrafting alt would really like the Jewelled Fishing Pole...

    I managed to get the strand crawler on my first try.. since then I've got 1 epic gem and loads of grey crap. I'm hoping to get the jeweled fishing rod next...Hmmm

    Finally got the crawler today... quite a ride doing the dailiy, well virtually daily since it's available.

    You are definitely not alone. Doing this daily every day since 3.1 has not yielded the crawler or the bone fishing pole yet. Starting to lose all hope frankly.
