have we as the fishers of wow over fished the oily blackmouth?
i never posted here before but read alot here and tonight just before patch i felt i had something to post about, my warlock(my main and fishing toon) has become a bit of a bore to me, so i spent a few heroic badges on some bind on account stuff and rolled a priest with herb/alchemy. lvld my alchemy to blacmouth oil and thought thats no problem i got a good fishing toon.. so as you would i head down to STV coast. i find there nothing but firefin schools, stonescale swarms and floating/bloodsail wreckage... so i think "ok, i will fish all these and wait for respawns on the schools, get my oilys then :)" fished all the south coast schools and upto gromgol, on the respawns i got 1 oily school, after running past all the schools on respawn and only seeing 1 oily school(it was close to shutdown for 3.1) i ended up with 43 firefins 12 stonescales and 3 oilys. now its been a long time since i fished the old waters of azeroth but is this the norm now? last time i fished for stonscales was when i use to stay up till azeroth's sun went down and the bite rate was meant to be higher on them.. have the stonscales eaten all the oilys? have we fished them to oblivion?
"edit" or was i just on an unlucky run?
