    I wouldn't say anywhere - it has to be in water ;) You'll have no luck in the Bank :D

    Yes, by the Mage Trainers is exactly where I caught him.

    I like your Bejewled idea. I've been watching films whilst fishing - but I'll check out Bejewled. do you have a link to it?

    When I tried fishing by the Mage Trainers, Horde kept messing with me. 60 something Mage would try to gank me, I'd kill him, he'd come back with like 4 people. At the waterfall in Valley of Honor, I only had 2 people attack me in an hour as opposed to like 1 every ten minutes.

    I've had a few trouble throughout my 1500+ catches so far. I am guessing about 5 deaths. A few would start attacking and after I /no /beg they would stop and leave.

    I got crafty (Again) yesterday , last time I deleted him since I found no use for him but now after beeing a member of this site for a while I cant do such things , now I have to try for all achievements possible in expansion :-)

    My guess is around 300 Catches to get him , for me he was pretty easy to get compared to Old Crafty (1700+ catches)

    Allies have much easier to hide and sneak around to get crafty , you can hide at the waterfall or under the mage trainer , on my realm the only horde who will discover you under the hut is priests going to respecc at their trainer and us priests usually are friendly since we know how it feels to be gangbanged.

    Baw...third day so far after the ominous Old Crafty. After 2100+ catches that blessed "confirmation box" finally popped up, but for my horror I managed to click Fishing again instead of "Okay". What I have noticed, is that opposing faction's own "Oldie" seems to have far more lower drop-rate. I have the Old crafty already on two Horde alts, but Old Ironjaw seems to avoid my baits instead.

    Nevertheless, Bejeweled-addon is a bliss after listening music for ages to entertain myself while fishing.

    I was doing my fishing daily earlier today and in a total of 28 casts in org i cought 3 old craftys!!!! but i still havnt got my croc as of now.

    A guildmate asked me about Old Ironjaw today and I explained to them it's random, doesn't matter which place you fish, just cast and hope. Less than 2 minutes later the message came across the GChat (achievement) they had caught it, 7th cast. I wasn't as good of luck with Pinchy, lol.

    I managed to see Old Crafty on my main fisherman today, and I got achievement credit for it. That was the good news. The bad news was that I got the baby crocolisk quest item at the same time, and somehow the loot window got messed up - the baby crocolisk got looted right away with autoloot active, but old crafty of course stayed in the loot box until I confirmed the BoP confirmation dialog. However, it also stayed there afterward - whenever I clicked ok on the dialog I got the message "You cannot loot that item right now", and the loot window stayed open. Clicking crafty in the loot window caused the confirmation dialog to reappear. In the end I had to close the loot window to be able to do anything - no crafty for me - but I did get credit for fishing him up.

    What are the odds that 2 ppl on the same day catch Old Crafty in the same throw as we pull up the Baby Crocolisk!?!?

    I sat for over an hour last night to no avail. Got ganked numerous times and went back late night to try again. I doubt that we will be left alone very much since they added the /hug achievement to kill an opposing faction in your city and then hug them.

    I thought I would just let them kill me, hug me and they'd go on their way...no such luck. All their friends wanted to hug me to I guess.

    I predict this has become an even more difficult achievement than it was before. I think I liked it better when I was just killable, not huggable. :)

    On a normal server, will my PVP flag turn off eventually as per usual, in an enemy capital?

    Although, Old Crafty was unlootable for me. I'd get the BoP prompt, hit accept, no fish.

    Bah! At least I got the achievement :-)

    Caught Old Crafty yesterday as Alliance. Stats for info were:

    Raw Longjaw Mud Snapper : 182
    Raw Brilliant Smallfish : 44
    Raw bristle Whisker Catfish : 88
    17 Pound Catfish :

    Old Crafty : 1

    Total : 315

    Couple of things to note after 3.0.2 The guards in Orgrimmar are now lvl75, making sneaking about especially to Valley of Honor harder. The achievements mean I was sharing 'secret' spots with 4-5 alliance and a lot more horde activity except in the early hours it seems. In the end though, it's the element of being in enemy territory that makes the challenge that much more interesting.
