I can't fish for Old Ironjaw to save my life. There is at least 1 Level 80 coming into the Forlorn Cavern every minute, it's definitely not an unpopular place as you said. I get ganked after like 10 casts into the water by at least 5 level 80s, who then continue to camp my corpse. I need some serious help here guys.

For me server time was key, as a rogue it's easy to get in IF unnoticed as you know. I'm on an est server time so I found that fishing around 5am was good as not many were online, during a weekday of course. Use an Elixir of Camouflage to avoid hunters having you pop on their screen and keep your stealth button ready at all times; for me I did that and used both sprint glyphs so you can not only sprint away while stealthed on top of water but you can do so quickly so you don't get killed in the process, wait for them to leave and continue fishing. If you are being camped just trying again at a later time is the best you can do really, good luck and grats on your stv win.
I don't know how much this would help, but if they are all huddled in the forlorn cavern trying to camp you and/or your fishing spot you could try getting a few casts in at the pool of ankle deep water in the Mystic Ward. That's where I caught my Ironjaw and while it's *highly* visible, it might be a temporary reprieve from the people camping the cavern. Another suggestion would be to find a friend who has an alliance alt or the space to create one and ask them to sit in IF (while on vent or something) to keep tabs on what's happinging in general and trade chat concering your fishing endeavors. If you have two accounts and a decent computer you could even do this for yourself. Good luck!

The best way to do it from what I've read is to stand in the back of the cavern and /sleep then fish. laying down and fishing helps hide your character from people, and make it less obvious that you're back there. You'll still get killed a lot, that is, unfortunately, part of the achievement.

Blizz fixed this, you can't sleep-fish anymore. But yeah, I understand dying is part of the achievement, but El said it was a quiet area, along with the Mystic Ward (Where I also died a first time). That's why I'm kind of mad ><

This info is incorrect, I was /sleep fishing in IF last night still trying to catch IronJaw. This fish Is driving me NUTS!
