I am four points away from 375.
And I don't have a single fish yet in the Rare Fish Achievement.
How did you get them? I have been fishing like mad since I hit 70. (Middle of last week) and at various locations.
I've been trying to get lightning eels but no such luck lots and lots of other fish. So far all I've got the seemed rare was a 23 pound redfin snapper. But that wasn't in the list.

Hello, the rare fish are just that, rare, don’t expect to find one easily. The achievements page on this site details all the fish that count as rare, check it out, the links will tell you where to find each fish. Also, as El says, take a look at some of the other discussions on these boards, they’re full of helpful info on this topic.
For someone fairly new to fishing, I would say don’t worry too much about getting a rare fish, as you may have to sit for many, many hours all for one fish. I would suggest focusing on some of the other achievements first, after all you may get lucky and hook that that rare fish along the way!
If you want to know where to fish for any specific type of fish, such as the lightning eels you mentioned, click on the ‘fish’ link in the menu bar at the top of this page, the fish finder is a brilliant tool.
