[General] Realm First 450 Fishing

    I was planning on going for realm first 450 fishing, but got distracted when once I got to Northrend. After about 2 hours of skinning I got that realm first, but my fishing was only at 400 when the fishing realm first was achieved. 4 hours after Wrath is released and 3 have already been completed on my server.

    about 4 hours and 30 min straight....few interuptions right by the dock.....
    even had time to get my last 2 pets for the skunk award...lol

    I managed to succeed in getting realm first 450 angling on Tanaris. I set my hearth to Orgrimmar and logged out on the zeppelin tower before going to pick up my preorder. After installation and patching, I logged in and a zeppelin was conveniently two steps away. Already knowing where the trainer was, I zoomed over to her once I got to the fjords, trained and hearthed.

    I started fishing at around 12:45 am EST and 855 catches later, at roughly 5:15 I hit 450. I was then spammed with a wall of "grats" whispers. It was quite an exciting and exhilarating experience.

    And now, I sleep.

    Not super hard,, but I don't think anybody was close to me, as I didn't get any angry whispers from Alliance. (Maybe horde, who knows)

    I fished in Northrend the entire team (Fjord) because I wanted fish to use for cooking; not 1000 crapy fish from Darnassus.

    I was only up to about 410, but I also got the realm first skinner heh.

    I got lucky here on Velen as I didnt have any expectations at getting this. I started fishing because the starter zones were full of people and I figured what the heck I might as well start leveling fishing until it thins out a little and I can do some quests.

    Once I got to 425 I thought I had a chance at it! After 962 casts and 4h13m Wuhoo!!!!

    I just got the Realm's First Grand Master Angler on Laughing Skull [EU] :D
    It happened at 17:19.
    The odd thing is: Got quite a few people whispering me that a Horde had already got the Feat of Strength in the night at aroud 3 AM. I couldn't get the Horde's name so I have not yet been able to track him on armory. So there might be the same feat of strength for both Horde and Alliance? Seems odd.

    Don't mind my FishingBuddy. It's about 900-1000 casts in total, but the first part got lost because my laptop reset due to me forgetting to plug in the power :P

    Did you check your server forums? I'm sure there is someone bragging and or qqing about all the realm first.

    Got this on Proudmoore just a little while ago. Don't think anyone was trying for this just for the fact that it is 10 in the morning. I figure with a guild name like mine I better get this one.

    Yep, there was nothing on it. I made a topic myself but so far no helpful replies yet. (It's not a very high populated server).

    Got it after a little over 4 hours of fishing (which included a realm restart) on Ravencrest EU. I had originally set out to complete it, and when I hit 449 fishing I started to get really excited - so you can imagine my heart missing a bit when I saw another Realm First! pop up in my chat window after I had completed 10 catches with 449 skill :D

    Fortunately it was just the Herbalism one, and the next catch was the winner for me :)

    I think there's an hour window once the first person gets it where others could still get credit for it. So the first person who hits it gets announced faction wide, if anyone else gets it within 1 hour they get the feat of strength, but nobody knows.

    thats weird....not saying you didnt but i didnt see an anouncement for yours...
    are you alliance? i wish they were more clear on this achievement....

    As far as I can tell, on my Server (Kilrogg) I seem to be the ONLY one fishing. LOL. Pools right in the middle and in the middle of no where all abandoned. I think I'm the only one who wants to be 'Salty'? Gonna do wonders for my cooking as well too. Already got the old mammoth recipe to make you sad and cupcake recipe to make me happy. Not even 24 hour of game being released in US and already people on my realm are peaking level 77. Oh well, I'll stick with my fishing :D
