    Hi fellow fishers, as of 17 Nov "Salty Silvasurfa" lvl 72 Pally Azjol Nerub EU, has been a hell of a grind for this title but have loved wow fishing from day 1, luckily pre patch I had Mr.Pinchy and the STV Won, practically evthing else I had to do, 730 casts for Old IJ, 2 hours in Org for Old Crafty(not for title but achievements), last night finally got the Old Man Barlowned, since not 1 Shrimp daily since patch, leaving me with Northrend Angler and ev1s favourite "The one that didn't get away", I checked here last night and saw Dark Herring had popped in Valgarde so this morning 9am set to work, 987 fish later(excluding motes and boxes) and 4 pm finally heard the glorious achievement sound as I reeled him in(fished from pier moving between respawns of 2 pools and he came from a pool), then just had to clear up Northrend Angler. My total fish on Statistics since patch 4976(excluding Dalaran and other catches), I spent hours and hours at Crystal Lake Elwynn and Azshara and made a fortune from Darkclaw Lobster, biggest I got was a 21lber.

    Dalaran coin fountain took me an overnight session upwards of 9 hours, though some of that spent joking on with the 2 great guys next to me, the last gold coin seemed like an eternity(also getting 12 more Titanium Seals a day in mail, GMs are aware and trying to fix), got the Sewer Rat on cast 12 to the dismay of a couple of people in there, people love the Sewer Rat, get asked all the time where he is from etc. STV fishing contest took me on and off 6 months last year, once saw it won in 45 mins I was kicking myself, took me 19 mins incl turn in for the pole, also with the Title up for grabs now on our realm seems to be a lot more people going on a Sunday. Next challenge is to see if I can get a key from Violet Hold just to see what's in the box.

    I have also been regularly checking this site for info and updates over the course of my achievement and think the site is a wonderful addition to the Wow fishing community, great work El.

    I got my Salty title 11/15 at about 5:30 am Servertime, on Doomhammer. I'm currently the only Salty I've run into thusfar but I'm willing to bet there are a few others out there.

    I also got server first on 11/13 =)

    Currently only need 1 more Achievement to qualify for Saltyness.

    OF which im swapping my time between Crystal Lake, Stonebull Lake and Valguarde Keep (pools and open water). no luck so far @ about 2k casts....now a personal quest!!! though its driving me crazy....

    Stuck @level 71 till i crack this... =(

    I got Salty tonight.

    Bladefist realm.

    I had finished all the achievements except the expansion only ones. Yesterday night I did the coins. It only took about 3 hours to get them all. Tonight I did all the pools. It's nice on my mage. Teleporting really saves time. Now, I just have to get the rat.

    There's still a lot of non-achievements for me to get. For example,
    Baby crocolisk mini-pet
    Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat
    Extravaganza Fishing Hat
    Extravaganza Fishing Boots

    I also need to keep doing the cooking daily so I have something to do with all these fish. I like the idea of profession dailies. (my Jewelcrafting is the same way). You have access to a lot of recipes, just over time rather than spending tons of gold for them.

    I really wish the fishing title was something other than 'Salty'.

    As a female gamer, I would feel uncomfortable using it. When I've mentioned it in my guild before people have made jokes about the connotations of 'salty', and even though I'm on track to earn the achievement, I don't think I'll use the title because of that, even though I really love fishing.

    I got Salty today on Laughing Skull - EU. Finally, after 1002 casts to get that last gold coin....

    Only Sewer Rat missing, but as long it's under 1500 casts I won't lose a lot of hope :P
