In making Gummo the most random traveller ever, I tried dropping mining for a bit and taking up inscription, just for the random scroll of recall (I and II). I already have the random archaeology teleport item.
However, while it appears the old scroll of recall had a rather long list of lost locations (with II including all of I plus more), post-Cataclysm scrolls seem to be limited to most (but not all) of the old Scroll of Recall I locations:
Stranglethorn Vale - Booty Bay's Cannon Pier (same as horde)
Tanaris - Inside Gadgetzan Arena (same as horde)
Dun Morogh - in one of the buildings at Steelgrill's Depot
Elwynn Forest - in basement of Lion's Pride Inn
Dustwallow Marsh - Theramore Isle, by the tower
Hinterlands - in Aerie Peak (I think I got this at some point)
I never got this location:
Darkshore, in Auberdine
This is due to the post-Cata changes
I never got any new locations with Scroll of Recall II, probably because many of the locations changed in Cataclysm. I'll test this again after I level up engineering in MoP and no longer need mining as much, as they may have gone back and added more locations.
