[Contests] STV Rare fish drop rate?

    3.5 months of fishing the contest for the full two hours plus off and on for the last 4+ years has gotten me exactly 1 rare fish. I got the fishing line a week before I won. Already have the hat from the fishing daily so I am dreading getting the other one for my 1 in 4 month rare fish! If I get the boots I don't think I will ever go back to STV lol!

    I had my first STV comp this week, I won the event and went for the Rod I also managed to catch the rare for the Boots, I really want the line to make the Ultimate fishing Rod

    Eternuim Line + Arcanite fishing rod = Awesome fishing rod, I hope i get it and not the Damn hat as i have the Weather Beaten hat.

    To date I have caught 3 lines, 4 boots, and 6 hats and have been doing them 2-3 times a month since August or so of last year. In one tournament I made 3 rare fish catches (2 boots and 1 hat) and that day and I only fished for about an hour, other times I'd fish for all 2 hours and get none, when I fish longer my goal is getting more of the lines for all my poles as I have the weather beaten hat and boots of the bay. Best thing to do is just keep fishing, the RNG on catching them is too hard to even say if you do fish for the full 2 hours you'll catch anything or if you'll catch a whole bunch. I don't think any of the three things have a better chance of dropping or drop in a certain order for everyone but wish I had caught less hats and boots and more lines.

    I caught all three rares in the same tournament, after I'd won it for the second time and got the trinket. I figured why not try since there was so much time left, so I fished away and got all three. I bought a lottery ticket the same day...but didn't win.
