[Fishing] The Coin Master

    Because there a a BUNCH of coins, and fishing buddy separates them EACH INVIDUALLY I just combined the gold, silver, and copper ones. Keep in mind if I didn't save my gold coins (only threw them back when I had doubles for coin buff) this probably would of gone faster:

    *NOTE ON COIN NUMBERS: if you were so inclined the single digits represent how much of each coin I caught in ALPHABETICAL ORDER on fishing buddy tracker, I'm just not in the mood (gotta catch that rat!) to type each and every name out.

    Copper Coin (1st done): 7 3 9 8 2 1 3 2 4 2 6 6 5 4 6 7 6 3 6 3 2 1 3 = 99 (17.8%)
    Silver Coin (3rd done) : 10 3 6 7 6 1 5 1 4 8 5 4 6= 66 (11.9%)
    Gold Coin (2nd done): 2 4 1 1 2 5 5 3 7 2 2 3 4 2 2 = 45 (8%)
    Fountain Goldfish: 301 (54%)
    Sewer Carp: 4 (0%)
    Empty Vial: 1 (0%)
    Magic Eater: 1 (0%)
    Bent Fishing Hook: 31 (5%)

    Total: 556

    My numbers for the Coin master.

    Took me a total of 681 cathes to get all the coins.

    Had all the copper coins after 290 cathes
    Had all the Silver coins after 370 cathes.
    Had allt he Gold coins after 681 cathes ( after cast nr. 370 i was missing one gold coin, so the next 311 cathes was to collect that one coin)

    In totalt i cough

    140 (21%) Copper coins - with Eitrigg's Copper coin (2) as the rarest and Molok's Copper Coin (14) as the one cought most.

    89 (13%) Silver coins - with and Alleria's Silver Coin (3) as the rarest and King Terenas menethil's Silver coin (11) as the one cought most

    49 (7%) Gold coins - with 3 coins only cought one time (Lady Katrana Prestor, Anduin Wrynn and Arugal) and Sylvanas Windrunner's Gold Coin (6) as the one cought most

    I also cought:
    359 Goldfish (52%)
    29 Bent Fishing Hook (4%)
    14 "other" objects Carps and Magic eater (thought i suspect this beeing because the bopper is not in the fountain. (2%)

    Good luck and enjoy trying to find you bopper, to missclick when another bopper jumps, and to have annoying players jump in the water..

    Sidenote: i got 4 Titanium Seal of Dalaran sendt me.... must be a bug.. but anyways.. i can flip coins all day long :)

    It's been said before, but there is currently a bug with the reward. In fact, all the rewards that are sent via mail are bugged; for the record I have received over 20 Titanium Seals and my guild mate received 3 Tabards of the Explorer. Developers are working on this.

    Yes, I'm thoroughly enjoying the Titanium Seal spam in my mailbox every couple of hours. If only they vendored for more than 1 silver....

    Yeah, my mailbox is full of those coins. The GM told me not to delete them though. Hopefully fixed today after maintenance. Every so often, the game checks your achievement status and gives you the rewards for them. What's supposed to happen is it checks if you already got the reward and only rewards if you don't have it yet. It's bugged so it doesn't check if you already got one. It just sends a new one every server check.

    I just completed this today Friday, April 10th, 2009 here are the totals from my fishing buddy add on:

    fountain goldfish: 614 (54.1%)
    bent fishing hook: 58 (5.1%)
    sewer carp: 25 (2.2%)
    magic eater: 8 (0.7%)
    empty vial: 1 (0.1%)
    crystallized water: 1 (0.1%)
    copper coin: 203 (17.9%)
    silver coin: 163 (14.4%)
    gold coin: 62 (5.5%)

    The last coin I finally caught was Thrall's Gold Coin. I was at 348 fountain goldfish and had already caught all the other coins but Thrall's. So have patience, you'll get it. Good Luck All.

    And don't forget if ya don't want to waste all those goldfish and have a hunter friend... kitties like fish :P

    not gonna write down all catches but for what its worth, i got my coin master after 675 cathes
