[Fishing] Ulduar fishin'!

    As it turns out, at least some of the water in Ulduar is fishable! I jacked the raid ID of one of my raiding friends, and was able to stealth my way to the furnace master's room and get a few casts in-there's Glassfin Minnow, Bonescale Snapper, and Nettlefish at least. The no-junk skill is (unsurprisingly) over 483. I'm heading back with more gear, bait, and bag space now; I'll update later once I fill up my bags. Until then, anybody that can please do go in and report back!

    Filled my unfortunately small amount of free inventory space, and... the results!

    • Glassfin Minnow ~60%
    • Bonescale Snapper ~20%
    • Nettlefish ~20%
    • Reinforced Crate/Crystallized Water ~1% each

    I was still catching junk at 502 skill but not at 577, my money's on 575 being the no-junk skill for the colossal forge.

    Thanks for the information. I've added Ulduar. Would be useful to confirm the precise skill, although unfortunately it now takes a lot of work. Also, I wonder if other areas contain fish? There is certainly water around Freya.

    Thanks for adding the page! I'll be sure to check out the water in the rest of the instance as soon as I possibly can, but for now there's a big shut door behind the deconstructor. Also, I just went back wearing exactly 500 skill and each of the different bait levels; I got a tree branch my first cast with 525 and no junk in a half hour with 550 so it looks like that's the skill you need. Btw, my number of catches in there including this round is 478 not counting junk if you want to add a sample size to the Ulduar page. I've updated my previous post with probably more accurate percentages too.

    The water in Freya's room appears to be the same.

    Half hour in Freya's room:
    Glassfin Minnow x50 - 59.52%
    Bonescale Snapper x18 - 21.4%
    Nettlefish x15 - 17.85%
    Reinforced Crate x1 - 1%
    I have to say that it's disappointing, I was half expecting a place with all the different fish :(

    Sad, I have to admit I was kind of hoping to get stormjewels out of the water in there. Is there any water anywhere besides Ignis and Freya? I wonder if the saronite in Yogg-Saron's room in fishable...

    My guild has cleared all the content up to the General so I have been going in there to fish a lot. I have been catching the exact same fish as has been mentioned so far. A little disappointing I must say.
