[Fishing] Unknown items out there?

    Do you think that there still are items out there in the ocean, which have never been fished until now? I've got the Salty some days ago when Pinchy gave me the pet and now I'm thinking of what else I could do.

    I read El's reply in the "What's left after Salty" about Drostan's Fishing Chair and I'd like to believe it's out there. So I will keep fishing the Sholazar Basin until it drops. Though it's clear to me that the chance is rather small if I think about the 11.000.000 accounts worldwide, of which one'd have found it. :/

    And oh yeah, it's my first post and I want to mention: El, this site rocks.

    Drostan's fishing chair is still lurking in the game's spell list. As is the Baby Shark ("he really requires water"). That does not mean they are available in the game. Indeed, I imagine that any item that can be gained will have been discovered by now.

    However, things do change unannounced. Recently, the addition of Pygmy Suckerfish to pools (on the current 3.0.8 Public Test Realm), or the switch to coastal fish in Stormwind Harbor about a month ago. So keep your eyes open... but I would not advise spending a lot of time trying to find something that probably isn't there. Yet.

    Added: On the 3.0.8 test realm there is a new angler in Dalaran's sewers, Sebastian Bower. He comments that "you'll be surprised what you can catch down here - I've even heard stories of sharks." Now that could be a reference to the shark swimming near the rogue vendor. Or it could be a more direct reference to something new to catch from fishing...
