[Fishing] UpsideDown Reels!?!?

  1. SeaDog256 <Angler>, 9 months ago:

One thing I've always wondered when it comes to WoW fishing is how do we manage to catch all those fish with our rod and reel upside down. Nat Pagle must be going out of his mind watching us fish. I know it bothers me. Anyone else notice this? Of course it could be a Fly Rod. In which case our expertise would speak for itself. But then the handle is on the wrong side and the butt of the rod is too long. So we're left handed Fly Fisherman. That works for me!

    Tight Lines!

I think you'll find the number of anglers on this site who know anything about real fishing (or should I say . . . reel fishing) are rather small.

Actually, about a 3/4 claim knowledge of physical world fishing...

What is this "physical world" you talk of? Do I need to be level 80 to get there?

LOL no I think maybe the "physical world" will be available in the next expansion... :P

I confess to being one of those who knows nothing about RL fishing. I mean, I've done it once or twice, but I don't like it! I just feel too bad for the fish =(

I used to love to fish, and caught quite a few things (even hooked a frog by the tongue once, I was 8 years old...and he was a big frog. Stretched out from tongue to feet, he was 18 inches long lol).

Lately, however, I've become much more of a homebody, or "indoorsie" type, so haven't been fishing in a while.
