Now I love this hat. I have it on my Shaman and my Warlock which I don't play very much. But on two newer characters, neither have gotten this to drop off the fishing dailies in over 2 months.
Has anyone else gotten it? Both have gotten the Jeweled Fishing pole for god's sake. Haha. Do I just have bad luck?

The fishing hat has a drop chance of about 1% from the quest reward bags, and the drop rate is truly random. I did the daily fishing quests (Outland, Northrend and SW) on several alliance alts. Some of them got the hat rather fast (Less than a month) but it took me over nine months for the last one of them to get the hat.
Just keep your fingers crossed, and be patient :)
