    My first stop once I logged on after 3.1 was to see Marcia Chase in Dalaran to pick up the new fishing daily. So exciting!

    After a quick stop in Sholozar at River's Heart, where I caught The Ghostfish on the 3rd cast, I gleefully returned to Dalaran, where I got my bag of fishing treasures. Inside was 8g and change, a worthless piece of broken glass, a glow worm, and an EPIC GEM! It's a Rigid Stormjewel (+20 Hit Rating). I couldn't believe it ... so I decided to go for the turtle mount ... and got that too. This has been an epic night for me, given that I still haven't completed the One That Got Away achievement!

    I got a glow worm, 10 gold, a raptor skull, 3 deviate fish. I feel ripped off lol. Patience and dedication are a fisherman's motto.

    I ended up with 10 gold, four Pygmy Oil, a Runic Mana Potion, and, as luck would have it, the Porcelain Bell worth 100g. Overall, not a bad haul by any means.

    * 9 gold, 81 silver, 93 copper
    * 3 Elixir of Water Walking
    * 2 Worthless Piece of Violet Glass ("This thing smells like booze.") - sold to vendor for 10 copper

    Third had:
    *7g 16s 43c
    *5 Pygmy Oil
    *Battered Jungle Hat (grey cloth, practically worthless to vendor, but looks great with my tux!)
    *Jeweled Fishing Pole (blue BoP item, +30 to fishing)

    Second contained:
    * 10.66.39 gold
    * 2 Northsea Pearl
    * Sealed Vial of Poison
    * 3 Deviate Fish

    El states elsewhere on this site that the Vial quest gives 18 gold, but I only got 13.23 for it.

    Interesting. The Vial quest may give less gold below level 80 (assuming it can be done below that level - any confirmations yet?). Or it may have been reduced since I last saw the quest on the Public Test Realms.

    Update: Confirmed it as 13g 23s at level 80. Quest requires 70. Gives 250 Kirin Tor rep to.

    I did not get to play last night because my wireless router took a dump on me yesterday afternoon. I didn't get the replacement installed till 2 am after agonizing over installation problems for a few hours. No problem, I'll just fish in morning...oooohhh no, Blizz has emergency maintenance for the two hours I have to fish whilst my son is at pre school.

    I did the Ghostfish quest last night, took about 10 casts to get the catch. I was not fishing in pools.

    I received some gold, a couple water walking potions and a Tiny Titanium Lockbox. It was a blue lockbox requiring 400 lock picking to open.

    After I had it picked I was surprised to find:
    Epic gem (unique equip +20 agility)
    2 other blue quality gems
    Blue tank necklace (+32 str, +43 sta, +32 defense)
