    I did the daily in the sewer and I received pygmy oilx4 and New Age Painting which was a gray that vendored for 25g.

    WOW!! Great to see the new poles coming in! Bit dissapointing to see the +skill bonus the same as the tuskarr one, but WOW! I guess its time for me to do the STV event to stock up on fishing lines :P

    The quest reward I received from doing the daily contained the following:

    3 Deviate Fish
    3 Pygmy Oil
    1 Tiny Titanium Lockbox (Requires 405 lockpicking)

    That's right, 405 lockpicking skill. The blacksmith's key is only 400, the engineer's elemental seaforium is only 360, and the rogue's maximum lockpicking skill is 400. 405 is only possible if your rogue has Dark Leather Gloves, which increases lockpicking by 5. I spent a long time looking for help until I found a rogue willing to try to open it. He in turn spammed for a leatherworker in trade channel for those gloves until we found one, then we traveled to redridge to farm for the mats. When we finally got the gloves made and the box unlocked, this was what we found:

    6 gold, 2 silver, 27 copper
    Solid Stormjewel (30 stamina)
    Monarch Topaz
    Twilight Opal
    Platinum Medallion of the bear (green neck)
    Two greys (each worth approx 4 silver from the vendor)

    However, from what i can see, the rewards are worth more than that (Especially that +30 stam gem!! WOW!)

    Today, in addition to the usual gold and pygmy oil, i got the following items after completing the Jewelry in the Sewer quest.

    [Purple Gem] Solid Stormjewel
    Bind on Pickup
    +30 Stamina
    Matches a Blue socket, Can only socket one Solid Stormjewel.

    [Blue Item] Bone Fishing Pole
    Bind on Pickup
    +30 Fishing
    +40 Shadow resist

    [White Item] Diamond Tipped Cane
    2-handed Staff
    (Server went down so I didn't get to write down any of the stats or how much it sells for to a vendor)

    Server is back up.

    The cane sold for 46 copper, which has to be a bug. It's diamond tipped, it must be worth more than that.

    Stephenn - I guess the Diamond Tipped Cane will be a "roleplay" item. Like several of the Outland daily rewards, it might sell at auction for looks.

    High Test Eternium Fishing Line seems to drop too, I got it from the Jewel of the Sewers daily.

    1st bag:

    5x Pygmy Oil
    3x Deviat Fish

    2nd bag:
    8g 96s
    1x Glow Worm
    1x New Age Painting
    2x Deviate Fish

    One of the chars (1st bag) has fishing skill 172(+130). I was surprised I could accept the Quest.

    anyone else dissapointed that these rods have a skill required of 1? Since you need at least 100 fishing to get the quest, the skill required SHOULD be at LEAST 100.

    Anyone else notice that those epic gems are BOP? I'm a bit torn with this fact, on one hand, its a really nice little reward for being a fishermen, i'm assuming you will only be able to get these 'stormjewels' while fishing. On the otherhand, i'm a bit dissapointed that they are not AH'able, like the Eye of the Sea was in TBC - which was a substantial little moneymaker

    Probably there was a hotfix applied to the current build today.

    Now the fishing daily will also grant you 250 Kirin Tor rep each time you finish it.

    Also reporting one more common trash drop from the bag :

    Worthless piece of white glass (i got 2 pieces (stackable) from my bag), can be sold for 10 copper totally.

    The Sword and the Sea turned up on Wowhead. "Old Man Barlo in Crystalsong Forest wants you to bring him the Sword of Knighthood." Except that Old Man Barlo is still in Outland, offering the same dailies as before. And a flight round Crystalsong Forest reveals nothing. Anyone have more information on that?

    Hmm, it doesnt look like a 'this item starts a quest' kind of quest, so i'm guessing its just NYI, or he's really well hidden :P
