Fish Feast and Pool Suckerfish
Patch 3.0.8 (which is still being tested) is known to make 2 important changes:
- The recipe for Fish Feast has been added. Fish Feast gives a +80 Attack Power, +46 Spell Power and +40 Stamina buff. The recipe requires 5 Epicurean's Awards and 450 cooking skill to buy. Fortunately, Gigantic and Small Feasts become "yellow" until skill 450, making it much easier to skill-up cooking to 450.
- About half of all catches from Northrend's pools have a Pygmy Suckerfish attached: Much more common than existing open water fishing.

Just a comment that they also "fixed" the daily fishing quest. You no longer get it 100% on first cast and actually have to work at it.
Collectively, fishers of the world sighed.

Did some fishing last night after the patch to gather ingredients for a stack of fish feasts. Over the course of catching 120 fish and a handful of misc other stuff, I also caught 100 suckerfish. In the course of one night they've changed these from a profitable item going for 7-8g ea to something you'll be lucky to give away.
Also being an alchemist, getting a few more of these would have been nice. Getting this many lets me make a crapload of items that never sold well in the first place.

I've been fishing in IF with "crocs in the city" and I have not caught the baby croc yet. I use to get it right away. Maybe they took it out?
Deathweaver, January 2009:
Nevermind... I just got the baby croc in IF. It sure took a while though.

Yeah, the fishing dailies no longer are instant successes. :( I wouldn't mind, if only they'd up the bonuses to compensate...
